Terms of Use

Last updated: 29 October 2026 · Version: 2026-10-28

The short version

  • Hey Make is free to use, with limits. You need a free account.
  • Your work is yours. We only store it so Hey Make works for you. We never sell it, never show ads, and never use your work to train AI.
  • Don't upload other people's work, photos, videos or voices without their permission.
  • You can download everything and delete your account at any time.

1. Who we are

Hey Make (heymake.app, app.heymake.app and the desktop app) is run by Hey Make App, Lahore, Pakistan ("we", "us"). Contact: hello@heymake.app.

By creating an account or using Hey Make you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy page.

2. Your account

  • You sign in with your email (we send you a code or link), or with Google when that's offered.
  • Use an email address that's yours, and keep it safe: anyone who can open your email can sign in as you. Tell us at hello@heymake.app if you think someone else has used your account.
  • One account is for one person. You're responsible for what happens in your account.
  • If you're under the age where you can agree to terms like these in your country, a parent or guardian must agree for you and look after the account with you. A parent or teacher who lets a young person use Hey Make is responsible for supervising them and for any permission their school or local law needs.

3. Free and paid plans

  • A free account includes 50 MB of online space. Your work is also kept on your device.
  • We may add paid plans with more (for example more online space). The price and anything else that applies will be shown before you pay. Payments will be handled by a payment provider under its own terms; we never see your card.
  • We may change the free limits. If a change means you have more online than the new limit, we'll tell you first so you can download your work.

4. Your work

  • You own what you make: your models, sprites, pictures, videos, games and projects.
  • You let us store, copy and send your files only as needed to run Hey Make for you: saving them online, syncing them to your devices, and showing them back to you. This ends when you delete the work or your account (backups clear on their normal schedule).
  • We don't use your work to train AI, we never sell it, and we don't show it to anyone unless you share it.

5. The Hey Make library

  • The library holds 3D models, textures and sprites made by us for use in Hey Make. They're licensed to you, not sold.
  • You can use library items inside anything you make with Hey Make, including things you share or sell (for example a game, a video or a picture).
  • You can't resell, give away or share library items on their own (as files or packs), or claim them as your own work.
  • Only we can change or remove items in the library. A copy you change (for example a sprite you open in Pixel) is your own copy.

6. What you must not do

  • Make, upload or share anything illegal, or anything that harms, harasses or exploits anyone. Never anything that sexualises minors; we report it.
  • Upload other people's work, photos, videos, voices or personal details without their permission.
  • Break someone else's rights: copyright, trademarks, privacy.
  • Try to get into other people's accounts or files, or around our limits, payments or security.
  • Upload viruses or harmful code, send spam, overload Hey Make, or copy it with automated tools.
  • Copy, resell or rebuild Hey Make itself.

We may remove content or close accounts that break these rules. Where it's fair to, we'll tell you first and give you time to download your work.

7. Keep your own copies

We work hard to keep your work safe, but things can go wrong (a lost device, a cleared browser, a bug, an outage). Keep copies of work that matters: Account settings › Download all my work gives you everything in one .zip.

8. Ending

  • You can delete your account at any time in Account settings › Delete account. You'll be offered a .zip of your work first.
  • If we ever close Hey Make, we'll give at least 60 days' notice so you can download your work, and refund any paid time you can't use.

9. Our responsibility

  • Hey Make is provided "as is". We keep improving it and may add, change or remove features. We can't promise it will always be free of errors or interruptions.
  • As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses or lost data. Our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (nothing, on the free plan).
  • Nothing here limits rights you have under your local consumer law.

10. Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and the courts of Lahore decide disputes. If your country's consumer law gives you the right to go to your local courts, that right stays.

11. Changes to these Terms

The date and version are shown at the top. If a change matters, we'll tell you in the app or by email and ask you to agree again. Until then, the version you agreed to applies.
